This competition was a 48hours architecture marathon, where we were supposed to design a mortuary home for a funeral ceremony for all religions.

The shape raises from the ground to define the street in an attempt to control the permanent link between the introspective forested area and the existing graveyard space annex. Thus a new block is given to the city with a space for reflection, providing an environment not exposed directly to the public.

Fundamental to the design of this dome was the creation of an internal logic path for funeral ritual. The course is divided into two approaches, first a moment of mourning and introspection. Here there is a way into the main chapel, that distributes to the three ceremony chapels. The building becomes the hinge between this dark moment and the next "breathing" moment, appears connected with the garden and the program of a social character.
