The former port area Nordhavnen north of Copenhagen is destined to become, through a radical urban transformation, a sustainable city of the 21st century based on the principle of social inclusion and environmental quality. The project involves the construction of a new portion of the city for 40.000 inhabitants and 40,000 workers according to a model of continuous and costant increase of density.

City vs Sprawl - "Nuova città sulla centuria Romana",
lying approximately between Padua, Treviso, Castelfranco and Mestre, has one of the most unusual settlement systems of northern Italy. This project starts from the view that the phenomena of urban sprawl should be stemmed, as the sprawl gives rise to a great number of problem, among which we might mention the excessive proliferation of infrastructures, with costs for the government that are unsustainable in the long run and break the delicate environmental balance of the system created by roman agriculture colonization. ... "Sono le ore 19:34 di Domenica 23 novembre 1980. Nella zona compresa tra l'Irpinia e la Basilicata Nord-Occidentale, la gente non è ricchissima, molti sono emigrati, molti riescono a fare nel 1980 una vita decente, altri magari sono a messa come dimostreranno i morti del comune di Balvano (PZ). Ma quel giorno, alle 19:34, tutto cambierà per sempre. Iniziano i 90 secondi più lunghi, che segneranno per sempre la gente di questi posti: una scossa senza paragoni magnitudo 6.9 della scala Richter spazzerà tutto via e nulla sarà come prima.
