La hall "Sostenibile ma bello" è costituita da una porzione di architettura che si apre al visitatore con un portale sottolineato da due grandi installazioni. L'ingresso verde accoglie e proietta lo spettatore in una nuova dimensione.

Varcata la soglia, si è immersi in un'atmosfera accogliente, demarcata dalla differenza di rumore tra l'esterno e l'interno ovattato e silenzioso. Lo spazio è racchiuso da una folta e scenografica vegetazione sulle pareti che parlano di qualità e benessere. In fondo un tavolo in pietra naturale fronteggia un grande specchio molato, che riflette lo spettatore insieme alla cornice verde che lo circonda. L'immersione nella natura favorisce un'emozione e una sensazione di partecipazione alla grandezza degli elementi naturali, si ha l'impressione di essere situati in un luogo importante, quasi sacro.

This mixed-use residential project was conceived as a large-scale, green building development on nearly 12 acres in the province of Caserta in southern Italy. The design and site plan, reflecting a direct response to the needs of this tightly knit community in which environmental regulations are becoming increasingly strict, is intended to be sustainable and improve its inhabitants' comfort and standard of living.

The project is conceived as a new complex urban framework and as the place of connection between different urban systems. Choosing a multi-scale and an articulated functional and spatial approach, the proposal's structure is based on a strong connection to the rest of the city. It can be seen as a contemporary re-interpretation of the complexity of the town's central area.

The project's structures responds to the aim of revitalizing the site and the study area by integrating different spaces and functions, and strengthening its connection to the rest of the city.
For this reasons, the project is defined by 5 component systems:
1. the residential area, whose development follows the Badstugatan and Pink House directions;
2. the main public spaces system with a new square in front of the cultural youth centre (Pink House), conceived as an urban gate, close to the new roundabout between E45 and road 70) and towards the south waterfront a solar park
3. the green wedge: a new park along the E45 and the railway;
4. the weststrand park, a new system of parks, sport facilities and leisure spaces along the E45 direction;
5. the waterfronts with new pedestrian pathways, quays and decks along the shore.

1. Housing development
The residential blocks' result from a critical analysis of the urban tissues. Every block contains different housing typologies aggregated in different ways, with a large amount of green areas and different spaces gradually connecting the road space to the house space. An open wooden frame along every block, with green plantations, support this gradual transitions and permits to read every block in a double way at the same time: as a unitary building and as a composition of different volumes. This choice derives from the objective to keep a unitary urban view, necessary due to the lack of a clear order in the site, without losing the complexity of an urban tissue where every single house has its own character, as the context's suggestions seem to show. Each block is composed by single family houses with internal courts, terraces or gardens, depending on every specific level.

2. The new square and the main public spaces
The square is open southwards, to the new park, while the new residential area constitute its western limit. To define the east side of the public square, the public floor becomes a folded surface, realized with a large stair leading to a raised square working as an arena for open air events. Under the folded surface different services, commercial and storage spaces can be previewed. A small and light panoramic tower is conceived as the western visual pole a symbolic landmark reference accessing the urban gate from the roundabout and it permits people to have a large view towards the landscape, increasing different possible uses of the square. The south part of this system is organized with different solution of the urban soil, like the solar park containing a series of green houses with eco-sustainable energetic solution, the urban park near the houses with the summer-winter water surface and some small leisure activities. In the north-west edge of the system is located the temporary bus terminal needed for the competitors during the Vasaloppet race. Out of the special event, the shelter can be used as bus stop and to protect a little weekly market with kiosks and little commercial boxes.

3. The green wedge: a new park along the Vasagatan
The park between the residential area, the Pink House square and the Vasagatan is a green wedge with continuous pedestrian paths coming from the city centre. It is shaped as a lightly slope and it has different meanings a local green area for the residential development's users, with playgrounds and small services;
a place where temporary storages for the Vasaloppet race can be placed, protected and hidden by the slope; a green and acoustic protection from the traffic lines represented by the Vasagatan and the railway. The park is crossed by an important connection between the square and the Travel centre and the Saxviken, designed as a pedestrian pathway and footbridge over the main traffic lines as a part of the connection system between the north and the south waterfront.

4. The weststrand park
South by the railway, the open areas are re-designed as parks, sport areas and leisure facilities along the Strandgatan and Vasagatan direction, recognized as main urban references. In this way sport activities can be easily reached from the site area. The new Travel center is thought as the western conclusion of this spatial system, covered by a large canopy. To promote different functions and urban life complexity, also in this area some small building and greenhouses are proposed with different use. By the lakeshore, different decks for small boats are previewed.

5.The waterfronts
On the waterfronts, different quays are previewed as the conclusion of the connection systems and pathways coming from the square and the housing development area. The north one is conceived as a series of little piers for small boats with some little leisure activities, also related to the housing blocks. The south waterfront has a more urban character, and it is structured with platforms, quays and little services - cafe, restaurants. The west floating pier can host little aircraft and mini-cruises landing and a platform for helicopter can be previewed. Also a little group of floating houses has been previewed. All the buildings and facilities have a structure, generally floating, able to front the problem of flooding phenomena.

Construction details
Different environmental concerns have been considered in a general view.
Natural Energy Integrated system is formed by a rising system ( the Solar Park) and a receiving system (the new houses).
The Solar Park is structured with greenhouses that hold public functions beside to be café, restaurants, atelier etc.
The greenhouses are provided by photovoltaic system panels integrated in the glasses covered surfaces exposed to the south, the vertical facades are structured with a photovoltaic brise-soleil system. All road lamp along the path can be photovoltaic led. The energy product should feed the new housing complex consumptions.
Eco-housing: the residential units aim to reduce their energy consumption and develop the natural resources to become passive homes.
-The glassed facades are opened to the southern light to maximize the amount of solar heat gain in the wintertime, but screened by wooden brise-soleil during the summer.
-A wide section of walls and ceilings allow a well-insulation of the inner spaces, as also the glassed facades are thought for minimal energy loss.
-The small greenhouse in the houses, accumulate heat and distributing it to closer rooms.
-The heating and hot water systems are integrated by geothermal heat pump.

3XNs proposal for the expansion to the Frederiksberg Courthouse takes its signal from the distinct roof and robust materials of the neighbouring neo-classical facility designed by Hack Kampmann.  The design of the courthouse is therefore composed with clear references to the architectural style of the refined neighbourhood of Frederiksberg, fitting in nicely with the surroundings – but still distinctly making its mark within the context of the place.

The proposal takes its shape from the site boundaries, and designed at a respectful angle of 45 degrees to the listed existing courtbuilding.  The result is an open corridor between the two buildings while maintaining a visual distinction for the Hack Kampmann building.  These challenges are the basis for an informed structure which is both classical and dynamic with its curved form – standing as a modern interpretation of the classical saddle style roof.

The project borns with the idea to develop the theme of the mdistrict market not as a single physical and economical entity, but as the sum of independent business units closed by a single fence. The intention to give a recognizable and contemporary image of the building coupled with the respect for the functional program and a particular attention to the disposition of retail and relation spaces, contributed to design the identity of the new market.

Therefore, our proposal is developed with the desire to perceive the new structure as an addition of independent cells connected together within a closed space (membrane) or, otherwise, as an aggregation of different rooms arranged within a village (fence). Simple addiction and ordered aggregation are the array that generate the project and try to define balances and proportions of the composition. The effect is to give life to a dynamic, ordered and also coloured space that is able to express in architecture the atmosphere and the flows of the district market.

The study of paths and full and empty led to the morphological definition of an articulated complex that integrates with the existent green and generates in its surroundings an urban pedestrian space that encourages social parecipation in all its potentialities ( relations, shopping, meeting, walk, entertainment...). A space of interchange and encounter is defined, a urban area able to satisfy basic needs and leisure, a place of attractions for an area not yet urbanized, in a indefinite context, with no particular interest.

The former port area Nordhavnen north of Copenhagen is destined to become, through a radical urban transformation, a sustainable city of the 21st century based on the principle of social inclusion and environmental quality. The project involves the construction of a new portion of the city for 40.000 inhabitants and 40,000 workers according to a model of continuous and costant increase of density.

The area, aligned in an orthogonal grid according to the classical founding principles, is punctuated by sequences of horizontal cuts demarcating new water canals and vertical cuts identifying gree Streams and crossings, green courtyards, roof garden, different views, greater openness towards the sea and the green, bike paths and ecological infrastructures contribute to make Nordhavnen a vibrant, dynamic, sostenible city of the future.

Segmented in episodes, this building complex is divided in three different functional parts presenting offices and diversified residential uses. It breakes out of the unified whole of its rectangular outline, appearing as an exploded structure of cube modules in a successive approximation between chaos and order, while its outer contours form an apparently unsystematic, most variate skyline, which faces the historical centre of Amsterdam.

The effort is to transform a modern theme associated with megastructure into something rich containing incident, which seems prompted by the idea of an abstract gothic urban pattern: a result of chance, as if it was an accumulation of human errors. The repetition and grouping of the cube elements in random order and size – as it seems – is inspired by function, the sea view and the control of interior lighting. Offices, mixed residential uses and high-level-living volumes are seperated by voids crossing the whole building. These cutouts favour glances in direction of the sea even for those, living or passing by behind the scenes of the actual competition area.

A reinforced concrete frame structure on a regular square grid of 7,50×7,50 sqm guarantees the necessary fexibility for a creative design of offices and flats, without lifting the overall costs of the whole building construction. Doors, apertures, parapets and voids can be manipulated with relative ease, whereas the window as a single element provides a new mode of organization of facades and spaces. The familiar quadrangular shape is used in an unexpected way, becoming a floor-element for the small black cubes or having enormous proportions.

A visible sign is formed by the five-floor office-vitrification, once more emphasized by a built shadow. Jumps in scale, smaller cubes and voids, light and shadow aerate and interrupt the monumental proportions of the bigger apertures, so particularly companies of medium and small size have the choice to find an address with a suitable identity to relate to, as well as families will find a visible landmark in their apartments. Light-flooded flats with large loggia- and terrace-spaces, often organized on two levels as maisonettes, offer spacious openings both on the front and the back side of the building complex. The access canal to a private boat-parking-basin devides apartments and offices. The water is reflecting light to the back facades, it completes the building’s shape, and generates an esclusive image of elegance.

Per noi, è fondamentale non trascurare alcun aspetto della filiera: dalle prime idee schizzate su un foglio di carta, fino al progetto finale, sviluppiamo la fisionomia dello spazio allestito, con il precipuo compito di comunicare che lo "spazio contenitore" deve fare da sfondo agli oggetti da esporre, ma anche rafforzare il marchio dell'azienda.

Exhibition stands have become real "sale-machines", regulated by the increasing and sophisticated rules representing the delicate and complex world of visual merchandising.
For us, it is fundamental not to ignore any aspect in the whole fabric: from the first idea-sketches on a piece of paper up to the final project, we are developing a physiognomy for the space to create. Its principal challenge is to communicate, so our "framework" has to provide a background for all displayed objects as well as to reinforce a company's marque.

Progetto per la realizzazione di un club velico. Lo scopo del progetto e' quello di realizzare una struttura necessaria a soddisfare le necessita per le quali e' nata, che allo stesso tempo non risulti un ostacolo visivo tra i pedoni della passeggiata e il mare, ma bensi' una cornice.
