The reasons for the project originate from the dialectical relation to the occasional existing context without considering its actual aesthetic qualities: the long stretch of an urban penetration road, an untidy prefab commercial building and the sparkling line of Jean Nouvel's minimetrò.
In this sense the building consists of a linear volume which is crossed by a pedestrian area (connecting the Chico Mendez Park with the parking area on Piazza Umbria Jazz) and is organised on three levels (one below-ground level for deposits, one ground level for commercial activities and one elevated level for offices)....
